It would offer a positive representation of British Muslims because they would be presented as faithful to their religion as well as being seen as wearing modern clothing rather than the robes that they may usually expect them to wear. As well as that there is also the fact that there is the confrontation between the Police Officer and Yasmin as she would calmly resolve the situation. However there is some negative representations of British Muslims because of the character of Yasmin. She is seen as negatively representing British Muslims because of the fact that she would change her appearance to appear culturally acceptable.
