Facebook has now decided to take action in regards to the fake news criticism that they have been receiving during the Presidential Elections. This has been done with external sources such as users and fact-checking organisations to ensure that Facebook would be more trustworthy with the news that they would distribute.
In my opinion, I think that this is good what Facebook is doing on his behalf. This would be because of how they are now handling the situation with fact checkers that should be able to improve transparency between the users and the social media platform. Therefore fewer people would share ot believe the fake news and this would also help with journalism as a whole since fake news can finally be taken seriously and click-bait articles can be resolved.
